cb radio keeps blowing fuses
so i just bought a used midland cb radio and started hooking it up. first i tried hooking it up at the fuse box in the spots marked for battery and accessory. as soon as i grounded it in either spot it blew the fuses next to where i plugged it in. so i decided trying to hook it up to the battery directly. again as soon as i grounded it, it blew the inline fuse. i dont have an antenna hooked up but it doesnt seem that would cause a blown fuse. am i wrong? is it just a bad unit or am i doing something stupid?
thanks for any help

I have a midland as well. All i did was pull the center dash bezel off, and remove the plug behind the lighter socket, it has a red and black, i just stuck the cb wires in there, put everything back together and its fine. Possibly a bad cb is what you got :P
