Alright so I've heard alot about the recall on cats in the 96 . How do I know If in eligible because mine has definitely gone to crap .

 

You need to give the dealer a call and have your VIN number ready so they can verify if yours is on the recall list. You may want to also ask them if there are any other open recalls on your Jeep. They may or may not tell you if you don't ask. Hope this helps.

 

Yep do that. My 96 was part of the recall. Too bad I found out about it the day after I paid for a new one. Now I doubt they'll honor the recall since the one I have in is no longer factory. But yeah, give the dealer a call, give em your VIN and they'll be able to tell you
