I got a 92 2 door. Something is in the carpet and its like forming white little ***** of something over time. Im thinking it's just seriously caked in like baking soda or Something that a past owner didn't vacuum up. While im still going to try and shampoo the carpet, im also wanting to get a new carpet figured out incase it comes to that. But I cant find any for 2 door. Finding alot of 4 door ones. Anybody know where i can find 2 door carpet kits?

 

When I bought my 2 door three years ago I couldnt find a source for new carpet. I opted to take my filthy carpet out of the jeep and clean it very very well. It came out surprisingly nice and doesnt stink anymore.

 

I don't see where they say 2 door or 4 door , I be leave that they are all the same . All the ones I looked at they all said cut to fit , I would guess they say that for the 2 door or 4 door .

 

All purpose cleaner, drill brush, and a power washer.

 

Unless you take your carpet to a custom auto interior shop, I don't think you can find something. Take the carpet out and clean it good, that is the best solution. Try to be a little delicate when you clean it, remember it is almost 30 years old. Less is more, worst case is that you have to go over it twice.

 

I replaced my carpet in my 2 door, and there's no difference between 2 and 4 door carpet.

 

Where did you order the carpet? Any trimming required? Looking to replace the carpet in my 88 2 door.

 

Amazon. It's ACC brand and was a nice molded carpet. It required no trimming.

hello I am also looking for replacement carpet for a 92 2 door Cherokee. Just curious if you tried the four door option and whether it worked or not.

 

Haven't done it yet. But it looks like there is enough to be trimmed around the edges that it shouldn't make any difference
