Default CARB legal header?

Any one know if there is a c.a.r.b legal header available for our rigs. I know there are a million headers out there, but california is so **** about that stuff I need one that is california compliant.
Thanks Brendan

I'd say call the manufacture and ask.

I think that the Banks is and same with the Borla but don't quote me on that..

you wont have a problem with a 91 since you only have one 02 sensor and its at the cat.

CA vehicle code says no modification can be made to the intake or exhaust system unless it is approved by CARB (California Air Resource Board). The question is if the inspector realizes it's an aftermarket part? If he does, does your manufacture have a CARB sticker? I just went through this with an intake. I ended up having to buy an almost identical intake with a CARB sticker.

I highly doubt they would notice an aftermarket header because they have factory headers and are relatively hidden from view anyway. But if you insist on being legal I'm pretty sure that Thorley has a CARB header.

Check out JBA. They are not cheap, but CARB approved. I have some on my little Chevy and found them to be quality.

Thanks for the info. Trust me al the smog techs around here are **** as hell and will prob notice. The header would not be the problem so much as the downpipe. I will check out the companies that you recommended though.
Thanks Brendan
