Default cant take serp belt off!!!94 4.0

tryin to find out how to take my serp belt off... doesnt have a tension pulley and im stumped

Hi and welcome to CF from TJ in NJ, you have to loosen the bolts around the power steering pulley and then there is a bolt under the pulley that adjusts the tension of the belt...Tj

yup that is how you do it just take your time and make sure you get a good look how it came off

can you put up a belt pic as well cause it is easy to get it on wrong if you don't have the little pic on the fan shroud

got it off .... appriciate all the help...now i have to change the water pump .. if anyone has any pointers

yeah wait for the truck to cool down so you dont get burned but really just take your time don't rush and it is pretty easy just a 13mm socket and wrench

do i need to drain the radiator first or just plug up the hose

either way it will leak when you take it off just have a bucket under it and it will be fine

I would do the thermostat while your tearing into it as well. Save the trouble later.
