Cant shift once in 3.

Cant shift once in 3.
Hello people. So occasionally when I put my automatic shifter into 3 it will stick in it. Like I can't push it up to drive or push in the button unless I tap the brake. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is it easy to fix?
