Default Can't pop my hood

My hood popper button doomahicky's always been really tough.. I've always needed 2 hands and all my weight to pull it open.

And now that it's -43 and I didn't plug her in and she's TEMPORARILY dead, I can't pop the hood.

I had one of my technicians here at work use all his force, and he's a solid solid guy, but we can't get it.

I fear it's frozen?

So.... that being said. I've now got my XJ plugged in, but the hood won't pop so I can't boost her. And there's absolutely NO charge because when I tried to turn it over, the little juice that was left, was just enough for my alarm to do it's usual "battery is low, let's use all the juice to flash till it dies muahaha"

What are my options? I'm off work in 26 minutes, and will have no one available to help me.

And how much damage has been done to my girl by not being plugged in? I haven't plugged her in once since I've had her, and this is the only problem I've had so far in terms of the cold.

I tried everything.. I even used a screwdriver as leverage but no luck..so the guys tried prying the hood itself, till I saw what they were doing and freaked.
