Exclamation cant line up torque converter to fly wheel?

recently put my new transmission in and im finally getting around to torquing everything down this morning when i get to my torque converter/fly wheel... i turn my fly wheel by hand so i can line up the holes but i cant seem to find the holes?? does this mean i need to go back a step and spin my torque converter a little to line up my holes?? if so is there an easy way to do so without removing the tranny from the block? thanks

The converter should spin freely and there should be some space between the converter and flywheel.
You would usually have one of the flexplate or flywheel holes at the bottom and spin the converter around until it matches.

Not sure what your problem might be with the limited info.
Did you change everything/anything ?

Did the converter drop in all the way into the trans pump ?

IIRC theres 5 bolts to the torque convertor? You'll have a one in five shot at lining it up.. if you cant start all five, rotate the torque convertor around one hole and try aghain till you get the right pattern. The spacing is offset between two holes requiring this.
