Help. Haha.

I cannot for the life of me get the remainder of the bearing off my pinion. I have and tried the puller, heat, scoring with dremel and chisel. It will not come off.

Keep smashing on it with a hammer, it will shatter and break off.

Cut it up a little further, you won't hurt the shaft if you nick it up a bit. Heat it with a propane torch to loosen it up , then get a chisel in the crack and keep hitting, it will go.
for that matter if you heat it and use your press it should go. Heat the bearing race directly. Heat it red hot. Give it a few smacks at the same time

I cut it like that then I used a Dremel to cut it all most all the way and then it was easy to get it to brake and slid it off .

If you have an angle grinder with a 4.5" disk, you can usually get in at a near horizontal angle to cut open the base of the bearing without hitting the pinion. As long as you're most of the way through it, a good few hammer and chisel blows should crack the remainder open

I ended up taking it to a shop, they were kind enough to pop it off and put the new bearing on for me. Took them 15min with a 30 ton bearing press. haha
