Default Cannot find the vibration

93 XJ, 4.5" lift D30 OX locker frnt D44 Auburn LSD rear 4.56 gears, Hack N Tap sye (Iron Rock)(uses stock frnt shaft in rear)

Vibration starts at 35-40 mph and gets worse as speed increases.

Swapped in 3 different rear drive shafts, took front shaft out. still has the vibration

Took rear drive shaft out and vibration stopped. could i really have 3 bad shafts? Idk

Does anybody have any clues? Thanks, Jacob

Angle of rear pinion is not aligned with the sye, but using a front shaft in the rear with the double cardigan or CV joint should compensate for that. I believe that shaft needs a rebuild.

now that you say that ive heard something about the pinion angle has to be set at a certain point with the cv. I got 6 degree shims on it now. maybe ill loose them and see if that helps. Like i said i tried 3 different shafts total, same results

It was all stock. 2wd auto. This is the first time driving it since all the mods. manual swap, 4x4 conversion, gears, lockers, lift, sye, wheels and tires etc.

Just had my driveshaft re-tubed. Omg world of difference. Just a slight bend can really mess things up.
