Hi Guys, I was watching one of these motor head tv programms where there is a competition between two teams to beaf up their cars and take part in a challenge. This one was two jeeps, not XJ's though, I think CJ's, but what the one team did surprised me. To save money (they have a tight budget) they gave the jeep a lift but they put their mags on back to front, making the jeep sit alot wider and stauncher...it actually looked damn good.....they went through a offroad challenge and nothing broke....my question is...can you actually do this without risking your wheels falling off/shearing wheel bolts etc etc ???

rims have a slightly beveled surface right around the stud holes where it allows the lug nuts to seat properly and hold tight...i wouldnt drive that on the road for anything. i dont think it would be safe. in shows like that they are just worried about the one time use. not to mention it would like kinda silly

lol naw. you really shouldnt do this. the lug nuts are eggcorns for a reason, and not to mention wheels on a cherokee are hubcentric. so if you put them on backwards than the lugnuts will not seat properly or tighten like you would want them to, and on top of that the wheel would not get centered, would wobble, and break off the wheel studs if the lugnuts havent come loose by then.
