Just a tip that worked for me when I was done replacing my coil springs last week. I see a lot of times folks use come a longs and such to line up the bolt holes on their lower control arms.
I pulled out the rear bolt on mine to drop the axle further because I was having a hell of a time getting my compressed coil spring in place. Once done I couldn’t line up bolt holes in control arm to slide bolt back in. After several worthless attempts of pushing axle forward with my legs I decided I’d try this.
I put everything back together and put tires on, dropped it. Started up Jeep and pulled forward just a smidge. Slid underneath and YES!! the bolt holes were in line, slid bolt in and and tightened the nut.
Maybe I just got lucky but this might work for some folks in some circumstances.

When I have done them, I got around that issue we encountered first time by;

do one side at a time,

manipulate the axle housing/spring pan angle with one, or a couple of strategically placed jacks

this alters the effective distance to overcome the problem

( "spike" shaped punch's are very useful for lining up bolt holes that are just a smidge out)

If I ever need to drag 2 things together, (or apart), I can make a tight loop of rope, and twist it up using a screwdriver. Amazingly simple, I'm sure they built pyramids that way lol
