Default Can someone help with this please?

Keys got stuck in the ignition, jiggled them and they finally came out, now with the key in, the ignition just goes back and forth with no resistance to it, and of course it doesn't start, doesn't even make the dash lights come on.

Evidently turning the steering wheel from lock to lock is while front wheels are in jacked up is too much for the cylinder. POS

I have trouble pouring **** out of a boot with instructions on the heel, will I be able to install a new cylinder myself?

And what does "coded" ignition cylinder mean?
