can this part be fixed?

It's the passenger side turn signal on the fender not the front.
I pulled this one from a junkyard from the same year as mine.
I've changed the bulb and put in a new fuse still no light. I'm betting mine is bad.
Any ideas and is there a proper way to splice this in w/o using twisty caps and electric tape.
I will be checking this one first of course. Thanks in advance.

is the metal connector inside the socket corroded?
if there isn't plug and play, you're going to have to solder the wires together and use heat shrink tubing to protect it.
