I came across a 2006 hemi 5.7 the needs rebuilt due to water damed and am wondering what kind of project it would be to drop it in my 98 Cherokee Sport? If anyone out there has done this please let me know.

would not be worth it... youll need alot more then just the motor... and i dont think anyone makes any adapters to support it...

 

go for it. youll need the motor, the 5psd auto tranny (dont think the manual from the ram will fit.. or if they even offered one) and the 231 bolts right up to that.

 

youll need more than the motor...........wire,harness,computer etc..........unless you plan to stick a carb on it.
