Default Can I add the "Power/ Comfort" trans switch to my 92 XJ?

Our local U- Pull It has 10-12 XJ's at any time. I see the power/ comfort switches and wonder if I can add it to my 92 which does not have it. Does this switch effect the TC lockup or something?

im pritty sure it was put in as a switch on the 91 year cherokees. 92 and up was programed in to the computer as the power option only.

all it does is change shift points. the models that dont have it are hardwired for "power".
The comfort selection feathers the clutches together, causing more wear.
