Default can anyone please tell me why I get a power cut under light throttle?

Here are the symptoms..
I take off gently, part throttle, then my engine just dies.. it's as if someone pulled the coil wire or turned off the fuel injectors... it pops, sputters, knocks, it keeps running, but there is a "cut-off" or what have you.. sometimes I pump the gas pedal and it pops a little and then power resumes, sometimes it will do this for almost 5 seconds, which is a long time when you are trying to pull onto a highway or main road.

Here is what I have done..
I swapped TPS from another TB, no change
I put in a new coil, no change
I have all new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor
new exhaust including cat and pre-cat O2 sensor
I have tested fuel pressure at the rail and it is about 45-50

Most of the time, I'd say 75% of the time, it is fine, but for those times that it does this, it really sucks.

Dirty fuel filter? Just because the pressure is there doesn't mean the volume is there.

I do plan on changing ,y in-tank pump screen tomorrow. By any chance do you know the TSB about the check valve O-ring fix? I'd hate to drop the tank twice.

un#&*^ingbelievable.. I just spent a good hour or two, swapping the fuel pump (and installing a hitch) with a new screen and it does the same thing! The old screen was dirty, very dirty, full of brown sludge.. and the old pump didn't hold pressure while parked, so I swapped in a new (Autozone) Airtex.. and nothing, same thing.. It does seem to run a little more consistent, a little stronger, and no more leak-back.. but I still get the part throttle stumble.. $200 down the drain, damnit.. and to top it off, I am suffering from a sinus/respiratory infection... I am at a complete loss.. if it;s not the fuel pump/filter, and it's not the TPS, then what the heck could it be?

go to ur local parts store and get a can of sea foam and put like 1/4 of the can in ur gas tank and the other 3/4 of the can in a vacuum line that goes into the intake manifold or throttle body. and get a can of carb cleaner and take the intake hose off an spray into ur trottle boddy to clean it. ur car will smoke alittle or alot depending on how dirty it is. that might fix most of ur problem. it sounds like u have a dirty throttle boddy and/or injectors.

If all else has failed i would chek the crank sensor. Mine had the same problem. It was the o2 sensors that fixed it , I replaced both at the same time.
Good luck!

did you replace the iac too? try that and a fuel pressure regulator, and cps all relatively cheap small parts and easy and could be the issue

Did you check for stored engine codes?

OK, I will try a new CPS.. I didn't think that this could be the case because I have always read that they either work or they don't work.

Did you try the seafoam? Mine ran like sheizer, seafoamed it after i took the TB off and scrubbed it with a toothbrush. Made huge difference. Also made a huge diff when I switched to champion copper plugs.

I haven't tried a CPS yet because I had another code for an O2 sensor, I want to make sure that doesnt come back before I change another part, new O2 sensor is in and no CEL, yet, I hope.. but I do still get the weird power cut... it is weird because i drove all over today with no problems, then all of a sudden it started happening again.

And I have probably been through 3 bottles of Seafoam already since I got this about 5 weeks ago

I don't know what you are talking about.. if you mean the fuel filter, I don't have one on the frame rail.
