So after jumping a hill (yes I know, really wasn't a good idea.) i noticed my tires had some camber. My buddy told me to get the front end realigned, so I did but they're still cambered, so I'm wondering what I need to do to fix it.
If your camber is off the front axle is bent, either the "C" knuckle/steering knuckle is bent or the tube and or you blew out the ball joints hell maybe all..lol..There is no way to adjust camber on an XJ,,,, or any solid axle vehicle for that matter..Unless you got adjustable ball joints. Time for new stuff and money.. Now let me ask you this,,was the jump fun?

Federal Mogul, Moog, and others make ball joints with 0.5 degree change in camber (offset). As the other poster stated, something is bent (axle tube or knuckle) or ball joint is damaged. There is an outside chance that the bearing assembly is damaged. Find out how much your camber is off (how many degrees). With offset BJs at top & bottom you can get a max change of one degree by staggering the offset top vs bottom. Plan on pulling the wheel, rotor, bearing & hub assembly, and probably the ball joints. After replacing damaged parts & installing offset BJs plan on having the toe set. Make sure to check for a bent wheel, damaged tie rod end(s), blown shock, damaged coil while you have it apart. Good luck!
