If your at -1.4* a 1.5* offset should do the trick. Like I said before the shaft will come out but depending on how bad that tube is bent it may not go back in due to the angle of the bent tube. Most of the time a D30 is bent from jumping and coming down hard on the front end. If I were going to swap in an axle I would go with a D44 out of a 05 or 06 Rubicon with 4.10 gears and a E-locker.

is it safe to install new ball joints from the local parts store in a cherokee with a 4.5 inch lift. i been hearing adjustable or OFF SET ball joints for front pinion angle so vibes will not occur..?
