Default ? on Cam sensor install on a 2000 XJ
Is this a straight forward 2 screws and a connector to replace? I can't find much but a few vids on car having to be on TDC??

Yes coil bar no distributor

Ok thanks . 2 screws and a connector to replace. Not sure why some on youtube say it has to be at TDC. That's for engine disassembly with drive being removed.

Your only replacing sensor head?...not shaft assy? Then its only 2 screws and connector
