hey guys i live in california i have an 86 cherokee with the 4.0 it has 172xxx miles and i know its got a lot of life left in it but i want something a little different like a 4 cyl cummins i know they make kits to put in land cruisers but i havent seen one for a jeep can anyone help me out im not really worried about smog cause my buddy just put a 7.3 turbo in his 93 f-150 and got it registerd ...just gotta go to the right dmv lb is more laid back haha anyways would my trany mount up if not what would i need im new to jeeps but i think it would be interesting to have a diesel jeep like in eroupe they seem to wheel like a mother.... if anyone could help i would really appreciate it thanks

 

Get the original VM 2500 turbo, it was made for chrysler and fits right in there.
