A/C only blows through defrost vents

A/C only blows through defrost vents

I just bought a 1998 Cherokee (my first) and the AC only blows out of the defrost vents. It has nothing coming out of the actual ac vents. Please throw any advice on this my way. Thank you!

Check the vacuum lines also the vacuum ball for cracks

^^^^^ what he said you have a vacuum leak check under the battery too its a known location for a leak if none are found elsewhere
