I had an entire new A/C system put in a few months ago and now it cycles on/off every few seconds regardless of which position the fan is on. Very annoying and causes lurching at stoplights.

I really don't want to take it back to that shop (bad experience) so I was wondering if this is a symptom of needing a recharge or if there is some "common fix".

Should I get a recharge or take it to a different shop to see what's up?

All 6 major a/c components replaced? Sounds as if it may be low on refrigerant......I'd suggest having it checked professionally elsewhere.
