Hey all,

The line comes that goes into the condensor is a male end. No problem there.

The line that goes into the evaporator should also be a male end, but all I can find are female lines, like this one ... https://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts...MaAnfbEALw_wcB

How do I connect that female end to the female connection that is coming through my firewall?

This is driving me nuts ... thanks for the help!

The line on the top is the line I took out ... the one on the bottom is the new one. Totally different ends ...

First would be nice to know what year you're dealing with.
Second just for the heck of it I would like to see a complete shot of your old and the new line.
Just curious what connections are on both ends.

Perhaps the best thing to do if you have mismatched parts is to go to an AC shop and have lines made that will fit. I had to do that and have not looked back.

My apologies. I had received the wrong part. Just got the correct one and all is good.

If anyone has the authority to delete this thread, feel free.

Thanks for all the info that I find on the reg here ... much appreciated!

Glad you worked it out.
But that is why I wanted to see the shots and know the year.
So I could look it up and see.
Would not be the first time a person was sold the wrong part or that one was packaged wrong. LOL.
