Default A/C compressor not getting power

The A/C compressor engages when I jump a wire from the positive to the battery but is not getting power . Dont know if the compressor will run tho. I even tried tricking the lp switch by jumping it to its self ( works when I do this to a A/C unit at work) and still no power. What am I missing?

Which plug exactly and yes I believe it is because I can take a wire from the battery and touch it to the plug on the compressor and the clutch engages

No you just cut the wires to plug and splice in new plug or buy theses and eliminate plug for further testing .

Don't ever by pass a pressure switch for more than a second or two bad things can happen if you do.
