Is the a/c clutch replaceable or do you have to replace the whole compressor.

 

You can replace it! I had to swap mine out after the bearings went bad, it locked up and shredded the belt. It takes some special tools, you can get them from O'Reilly (I couldn't get them at Autozone.) I just pulled one off at a JY. yeah getting one from a JY might work, but if I remember right the cost of a new clutch is almost the same price as a new compressor.
