Bypass a/c condenser

Bypass a/c condenser
I have a 1987 cherokee xj 4.0 v6. My a/c condenser lock up, and getting a loud noise and it heat up, wanna know if you could bypass the a/c condenser by getting a smaller serpentine belt?!.

I did a little looken earlier on that in case I ran into that on my 90. Now I know. Too bad you are across the country, I have a ton, (OK maybe 1-1/2 tons) , of mid 50's ****** stuff.
