Default Bump Stops

Ok.............so I'm looking on ebay for new bump stops because my front ones are rotted/worn down to little more than a small nub and all that's left of the rear ones are the metal bases.

The fronts are pretty straight forward because there's really only one style/size to choose from.
For the rear however, I've found several different lengths. Does anyone know what the OE specs are?

Maybe fix the cause of the bump stops getting worn?

I'm guessing time and the elements. They are the OE bump stops.

Stock rear bump stop on my '96 is 2.75-inchs, a little more if you count the metal mounting plate. When I needed to replace one of them, I bought the part from quadratec and cut about an inch off the end with a hack saw to match OEM length.

I need to find front ones for my '92. I can't seem to find them on Quadratech. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

A mechanic told me he thought the front end and springs have to be dropped to put them in. Has anybody out there put these in theirs?
