Bump Steer and Jerky 4wd/Steering
First post and I've searched quite a bit here but didn't find anything...
The other day I hit some cracks in the road and got bump steer terribly (I didn't know what it was at the time). Then, I put it in 4wd and it jumps forward and jumps with no throttle. Then, when turning left while reversing, there's a loud noise and a jerking in the steering.
Does this sound like a tie rod? Or more of a wheel bearing, or something entirely different?
First Jeep and I've had it for a week, lol. 99 XJ 4.0L 4WD
