I'd do square, they look more stealthy, but more functional. Round tubes tend to look beefier, But that what everybody else has.

yeah that is why i went with square to start with i like the super square rails they look pretty beefy and easy to build the round i would have to have bent.

I'd go with round.....ok I did go with round. It looks to me like the angled parts on the square outer tubes could possibly hang you up , whereas, the round tubes seem to slide since they are rounded. either way ou are gonna have way better protection than you would have without an outer tube.

i was thinking that about the round i think it would slide better if caught up. i know some body that could bend the tube for me but the square i can do with just the grinder and sawsall in the grauge. and my rails have done good so far but i need to get the sliders on soon so i dont smash the doors

good idea and she is getting to short for my lift so i think square will be the choice for the job so she don't have to get a ladder to get in. i think i will start the build in a week or two.

If you are just going to do a tube right under the body, I like square, (JCR Offroad)

But if you are going to add more to it, I like round.. something like this.. http://www.quadratec.com/products/78003_80X_PG.htm

I personaly really like the square and ^X2 on the bed liner i think that would be cool for grip or maybe grip tape(look on ebay for skateboard grip tape its alot cheaper and you can get huge rolls)

I'm glad you said "short"!

I'd hate to have to report you.
