I'm in the middle of a similar lift but I'm shooting for 3".

I used an Isuzu rodeo bastard pack in the rear & got 3" of lift that is still there after three weeks of D/D.

The front isn't done yet, due to lack of funds.
I have the front coils from a V8-ZJ & will be buying a pair of 1.75" coil spacers in about a week or so.

That should give me 2-1/2-to-3-1/4" up front.

I can add more to the rear if needed.

Not too hard to do, but I had driveline vibes until I did a $8.00 1" X-fer case drop. Got all the bolts & large nuts for spacers at Advance Auto. Bolts are M10x40mm & must be grade 10.9.

There's two bolts & two studs holding the X-fer case cross-member.

The studs have shoulders & wont pass through the cross-member holes. Lower each side, one at a time. Replace with 4 new bolts mentioned earlier.

I followed this website doing mine. i used S10 leafs instead of dakota and i happened to find a used set of rough country springs on a cherokee in the junkyard on my way to pickup the F150's so i have those up front.

the F150 shocks work great you just have to pull the metal guide out (10 mins top)
and i dropped my trans crossmember with 12 or so washers

PM me if you have any questions
