Default broken water temp sensor

i recently swapped out clusters and was in the process of oil press and water temp, and the original water temp sensor broke in the socket it was in.
does anyone have any possible fixes for this? i thought about just tapping another hole for the new sensor, or pulling a new head off one at the junk yard. one with less miles clean it up a little and thats it.

anyone have similar problem and possible fixes?

Before I write a lengthy reply and assume the wrong thing....Am I reading it right that you snapped it off below the part with the hex-head like you would if you broke off a bolt head? Everytime I've broken one of these things they always just snap off up on the plastic part.

I've had a lot of luck using E-Z Outs to get the busted pieces out.

no way to really grab onto it from the top, ill grab a pic when its light outside.
but there is no way to grab it at all. short of pulling the head off and trying to back the sensor out.
