Default broken rocker arm... Twice!

So about a month ago my 2000 Cherokee started to run poorly, mechanic found a broken rocker arm and replaced it. 3 days ago it did it again. Same rocker arm location had broken again, this time he changed the push rod too. Its back on the road but now the oil pressure doesn't move from about 12psi. I'm going to add a mechanical gauge under the hood.

Any have these issues before? Yes it has the infamous 0331 head.

Had this issue with a 98 Dodge V10 motor. Kept snapping rockers. Found out there was coolant in the oil causing massive galling at the rocker pivots. I can't imagine what the bearings looked like..

Did mechanic also find a crack in cylinder head, usually located directly under oil fill cap?

How does the plug for the affected cylinder look compared to others? Any other evidence of coolant in the cylinder?

Did this alleged mechanic bother to check for anything, like, oh, maybe a problem with the valve, or even, maybe the lifter?

Is he anything other than an overpaid parts swapper?
