Default Broken Motor Mount Bolts ---- HELP !!!!

I'll keep it short .....

1995 XJ

All three motor mount bolts have sheared off with pieces left in the block on the passenger side.

Anyone ever dealt with this before?

Any idea of what we are in for ????

THANKS

Lots-o-peeps just do a search.
If memory serves the bolts are too long and bottom in the threads in the block, a real PITA. You get to make access and remove the stubs from the block & insure the new fasteners have sufficient clearance. Use a couple of washers on the new fasteners so they actually torque with clamping force and not just bottom out and sit there. Might as well do the other side while you are there. Good luck.

Yep, get a left hand drill bit and a angle head drill. Two of mine spun out with just the bit. Did not have to use the extractor. Never could get the third out. Ended up buying brown dog motor mounts. They have seven mounting holes I think.
