Broken bolts on rear shock
changing out my shocks today in the rear and the top two bolts on both sides broke the heads off leaving the threads inside the body. now i cant bolt up the new shocks.
question is how do i go about getting the threads out so i can install the new set?
also... am i able to drive with rear shocks until this is figured out?
thanks for the help in advance. i was told this was a common problem so hopefully ya'll have an idea for what i should do

I did the same on my driver side rear. Time to get out the drill *I loved my electric one over the battery powered one* Drill out the old. Get a nice shiny tap and dye set. *even if you have one, buy a new one. It's fun buying new tools :-D* I forgot the drill size and bolt size, but your local hardware store will have the right bolts for you. I'd never drilled through, or tapped anything before. I only had one bad bolt and it took me darn near an hour to get her done. Good luck with it!
