Default brass heat hose adapter

in the mail today.
the barbed end is 5/8 on outside, looks ok.
the threaded end is 5/8 on outside, 1/2 on inside.
anybody have one or old bent pipe to compare.

i had a feeling it would be wrong, cant find 3/8 anywhere in town, ebay said this was 3/8,,,5/8 ???

Your talking about the water pump outlet tube right? I have a brand new one laying on my shop bench at home. I'm out shopping now, but I can supply you with some measurements when I get home.

great, i just spent 30 minutes jumping around websites on pipe sizes and got nowhere, just led to other sites.
is yours one you know fits? brass or the orig bent pipe?

im looking for inside and outside dimensions of the threaded end. i assume 5/5 on barb is good.

i thought the 3/8 pipe thread would be 3/8 on inside. mine is 1/2 and 5/8 on outside of threads.

any help...

Ok finally settled in at home, shopping completed and kiddo tucked into bed. Grabbed my pipe from the garage.

OD of threaded end: 5/8"

ID of threaded end: approx 3/8"

mine is too but 1/2 inside,maybe just thinner wall?

That's what you need. Buy a longer heater hose and you are good to go.

yeah i got it wed and had questions about the size of each end. it didnt seem right but "curry" helped me.
when i get the hose ill look at the bent pipe they stock at a zone just to be sure.
i just want to be ready when my rusty pipe goes bad!!
