well while working on the wheel cylinder I broke the brake line. ehh, now I apparently need to pull an all nighter and goto the store at 7:30am to get a new line, in the process I am trying to rip out the line but apparently fail to have the correct wrench so Im trying to use an adjustable which is failing me more.

The gas line is in the way, and the nut wont break loose even after soaking it. Im looking around the workbench for something to get the line off so I can focus on the brakes that still need redone.

Just now after 5 hours or something, got the brake line fitting out of the tblock.

took a hammer to the brake line and broke it off, found a socket that wasnt the metric star type that cant grab for **** on these fittings.
Now I have 2 fittings an a brake line to get replaced at 7:30 when the murrys opens. the bike ride over is going to suck in this cold/snowy weather. Time to get that leaky wheel cylinder (which started all this) off and replaced.

That sucks. Where are you located? Maybe someone is near and can help/give you a lift.

3 words: Gator Grip Sockets.

best thing ever. have one for the small projects, and it speeds things up soooooooo much. and grips everything like, well, a gator.

oh, and things didnt go smooth, I just finished. I ended up grabbing the wrong line. ended up being about 3 inches too short.

I convinced someone to stop by with the correct line, and I got it going.
eh, I feel like passing out now

just drove it home, brakes are a little soft, I assume due to the cheap *** self bleed kit I bought, (returning due to cheapness) but it does stop.
may have to pump once to get a bit more of a firm pedal but it atleast slows.
