Default Brakeline question..

This may be a stupid question but, here goes.

What would happen if you don't install a rear brakeline extension kit with a lift? My guess is that the rig would take longer to stop and you would have to fully press the brakes to stop. Like flooring the gas but flooring the brakes. I dunno, throwing out some random stuff.

Not installing longer lines will strech the lines and cause them to fail. the fronts can be relocated but in most cases any thing over 2" the rear line needs to be replaced with a longer line(esp when suspension is articulated). Relocating the line that is there with a bracket is kind of a half a$$ way to do it. a good braided line is the best option.

OH, you just edited it. Nevermind.

Edit again: I guess you will notice a difference in braking without the extensions then?

the only time you will notice a difference is when you rip off your brake line and dont have any brakes at all you can get a yj brakeline they are a few inches longer and only cost about $15 at the local parts store
