brake swap
hello ive been coming to this forum for a while now but now have a quesion. Im trying to get parts together to do a mc and booster swap for my 1990 xj. the abs I have now sucks. Ive been reading what people have been swaping in the mc and booster from a wj. I went to the junkyard this past weekend and pulled the mc and booster from a 2000 wj. my question is this, I was also looking to pull the proportioning valve but could not find it. the mc had brake lines running to a block that had some electrical connections and then more brake lines running down to the brakes. It didnt look like a proportioning valve that ive seen in the writeups. what is that and should i have pulled it. my next question is on the driver side of the mc there is a electrical connection what is that and do i need to wire it up, if so how. sorry if this does not make any since this is all new to me thanks

Anti lock brakes--The connector is for either low fluid or most likely a brake failure warning light
