Default Brake question

Ok I have a simple/stupid question. I'm replacing my front calipers tomorrow. The bleeder screw sheared off while trying to take it off. No big deal. I've replaced pads before and know they have to be compressed with a c-clamp. Is this necessary with brand new calipers? Or can I just take the hose off and undo the bolts and replace it with the new parts. Like I said I've replaced pads before but not calipers. Thanks

The new calipers will in all likelyhood have the pistons compressed. Unhook the old, hook up the new and bleed.

Make sure the bleeders are at the TOP of the caliper when you install them.
