I think I found the adjusters.

Are any of these pieces part of the self adjusters?

At minimum you need the part circled at the bottom. You can adjust the brakes manually by turning the star wheel.
When you turn the star wheel this piece expands or contracts, changing the distance between the shoes and the drum. You adjust it so the brakes just start to rub, then back it off a fraction of a turn.

The cable/spring assembly higher up is part of the automatic adjuster, as is the 'finger' below the star wheel. Those aren't absolutely necessary to have functional brakes, just to have them adjust automatically.
Freegdr is right, most any auto parts house would have those adjusters in stock, and they are cheap.

The problem could be in either the flexible hose or the caliper. You could crack the banjo bolt loose and have someone press on the brake pedal. If fluid comes out, then the problem is in the caliper.
