Brake pedal won't move

Have a 2001 Cherokee sport. Swapped the master cylinder and now my brake pedal will not move when I step on it. Anyone know what could cause this?

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter

Pull the master cylinder off and start over.

You didn't get the linkage rod in the proper place?
