hey guys, im looking to put a mild 3" lift on my 96 xj to fit some larger tires underneath. my simple question is- will i need to extend my brake lines? and will i need to drop my transfer case or place a longer drive shaft between the tranny and diff? i ask because im on a budget and need to price my stuff before i buy, and would prefer not to buy the additional brake lines etc if not necessary. thanks, any info or links to other threads will help

I put a 3" RoughCountry lift on my 96' Cherokee 2dr. The kit I got came with new leaf springs, new coils and 4 shocks.
I would recommend getting a longer rear flex hose for the axle but its not required. There is alot of tension on it when the suspension hangs but normally its not bad. The driveline vibrations are minimal also. my .02

you can stay stock on the driveshaft... if u get any kind of vibes then i would think something else aint right cause u should be fine at that hight... aka unbalanced driveshaft... but if you do get them then itll be fine till you can do a transfer case drop... which is your case i think you would be fine with... but like i said... onlyif for what ever reason you do have vibes... but u wont... lol
