i was wondering how i go about taking off front brake lines because i'm taking the lift off my 87 for my 92.. i tried to wrench it off and i only stripped the nut and i tried vice grips and it made matters worse, any help would be greatly appreciated

 

You should have used a brake line wrench. But now it sounds like it's to late. If the head of the nut is already messed up you may be better off buying new brake line that way you won't have a problem putting them back on. Just a thought.

yeah i think i'm just gonna replace the brake lines because they aren't much longer than the stock ones and that being the case i rather go a little bit longer..

 

You would be better off. Then you can get longer lines.
