Default Brake lights went out after lifting the rear?

I am sure it just a bad coincidence, but after my shackle install my brake lights don't work. Is there something I could have hit>? If not is it a swith that goes bad by the pedal or something? If I could change at lunch would be great as I have 2 highways to drive home on with crazy Florida drivers and tourists.

Is the yellowing box the brake switch? Also I will check my fuses but I do not have a manual. Would anyone know what fuse is the brake lights? Also is it in the interior fuse box or under hood? thanks

So it wasn't the switch or any fuses. It has something to do with the keyless entry that was added by the PO....

All the fuses inside and out were ok except for that #7 I replaced yesterday. There was a T top I took off the tail light harness for a trailer I think, only looks like it chopped the casing a little , I can barely see copper in one spot, but I put electrical tape around it.

My other thought of a cause is near the pedal I have this tiny purple wire rigged into the switch doesn't look OEM and there is this little black switch to left also that may or may not be related. This is a new switch and I replaced the bulbs. Some how everything was fine until I saw that dang green wire and decided to me safe and cap it *shrug*

I don't care when I'm in the Jeep alone but really don;t want to get re eneded with my son and pregnant wife in there. Any thoughts appreciated. thanks
