the other night i disconected my tow package harness that goes to the hitch, simply just unplugged it from the main harness and removed it from the car.. now the brake lights or running lights dont work in the back, the blinkers work though...

what did i do? help plez !!

 

as a matter of fact i dont know if the brake lights ever worked since i bought the XJ about 2 weeks ago.. so i looked under dash and guess what ... there is nothing connected to the brake light switch.. and i dont see any plugs that would plug into it.. i see some cut wires...

can some1 show me a pic of the connector that plugs into the brake light switch? here is a pic of it

 

can some1 take a pic of they brake light switch connector and where it goes?

ok guys fixed my problem! found 2 wires cut and dangling under dash ( pink and light blue wire with a stripe ) and per Cruiser54 connected those to the brake switch and got my brake lights back on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
