Default Brake light issue

So we repaired all the broken wires thru the back hatch on a 01 xj [new to us]
And the passenger side brake light works good, the driver side has reverse light and no running or turn light. It seems I can't get power on 0ne plug in the drivers rear quarter I've traced all the way to the kick plate on drivers side and have power except on the pink/brn wire at the connector. License plate light doesn't come on either, again the passenger side is good everything works.
It was fine yesterday, today I tried to get plate light to work and found the broken wires. They are correctly connected now.

Any ideas I could chase.
I'm no electric guy!

Does it have a trailer hitch harness these can cause headache maybe you can unplug it and connect the plugs together eliminating it from harness. Just reverse what was done here..
