drove in snow, brake light and airbag lights on, never set the brake

Brake light on the dash? Check your fluid level. Could be a faulty switch at the parking brake as well. The airbag light could be the clockspring, or an internal fault with the monitor. Dont mess with either one (the airbag stuff) unless you know what you are doing.

Fired up the XJ this morning, NO LIGHTS. No clue why before and not today. Better this way than other possible things.

 

i would start checking fuses and then the grounds.
