brake issuse
I got a 1989 jeep cherokee that has the bendix 9 abs system. the master cylinder went out and is $642. just for the part. I would like to put a normal master cylinder on it and get rid or bypass the abs system. has anyone done this, how hard was it and is it very costly? I just want to get back out on the road.

go get yourself a 2 stage 92+ brake boster w/o abs and swap it in there, then rip our all the sensors for the ABS and the ABS light on your dash. make sure you take the sensors off the axle, you should be fine and can pick one up for like $35 at the junkyard
