the socket heads on my buddys xj are stripped so we cant get his brake pads off then I checked mine out and they are the same so I assume someone else ran into this problem where should we start on trying to remove them?

 

theres a coupla ways to do it- get "bolt out", or drill it out....

 

89 would have the metric allen head bolts correct? Try a vicegrip to remove them. I think i have some of them lying around if your local..

 

yeah they are the allen head bolts, and I haven't come across a pair that are not stripped, I will try out the vise grips thanks
